Trauma Audit & Research Network Audit Group

The Trauma Audit and Research Network (TARN) is seeking to appoint five trauma professionals including Clinical Audit/TARN Coordinators, Managers and Trauma Unit clinicians to the TARN Audit Group.

The Audit Group is part of the overall structure of TARN with two Directors of Clinical Audit. The Group is responsible for all clinical audit matters and the provision of accurate and relevant information to help Doctors, Nurses and Managers improve their trauma services.

Expressions of interest are sought from interested people with a good understanding of trauma audit, the healthcare system after injury and with some experience of committee work and decision making.

The appointment is not remunerated but expenses will be paid. The time commitment is up to 6 meetings per year (at least 75% of which must be in person). The term of office as a Member of the TARN Audit Group is currently planned for 4 year.
