Record start date, start time and end time, type of blood product and total number of units given between start and end times.

Leucocyte Depleted Red Cells & Plasma
The volume of this product should be recorded as 2 units per bag.
London Air Ambulance now carry a new blood product which is Red Blood Cells & Fresh Plasma. It is the equivalent of 1 unit of RBC & 1 unit of FFP in a single bag and the volume is approx 500ml so twice the size of a single blood component.
Patients who are conveyed to any of the 4 London MTCs may receive it and it is also being used in ED at Royal London Hospital.
